Acemate was a social media network idea created with the goal of connecting people in the asexual community with each other via app.
Design Process
For this app, we spent hours pouring through existing social media app’s and finding what worked well and didn’t on various moodboards. The color scheme was already picked out, as the asexuality flag is represented by purple, white black and grey and the symbolism of triangles is already present in the community.
From there, we were able to create several pen sketches that were converted into digital wireframes. These wireframes were then implemented into the finished product.
