Let’s Talk VR

Let’s Talk Vr is a virtual reality and augmented reality focused community blog. We were tasked with creating a brand identity for Let’s talk vr that would speak to their ambitions for podcasting, blogging and making videos about virtual reality.

We also created a website design concept for an ecommerce store.

How we designed the mark

After doing research on the VR/AR market and target audience, we decided to go with a feel that would match the gaming niche that most of the VR/AR content has been produced for.

The color palette chosen was limited to minimalist colors (dark hues of gray and a primary color – yellow).  The basis of the design had to do with subtle layering and shadows, as a nod towards the user experience that current VR/AR headsets provide.
